Day 21. Standing Mermaid Pose!
Howdy! Good morning my sunshines!!* I started this post with the name of the pose and not with my greeting because I want to say that I finally can clap my hands in this pose! yeih! I’ve been working on my shoulders and I see progress!!! hurray!
How to: Start to shift your weight into your right foot, bend your left knee and reach back with your left hand, with your palm facing up, now place the top of your foot into the palm of your hand, begin to put your foot slowly into the inner elbow crease of your arm. Take a breath and raise your left arm up toward the sky, bend your elbow, and clasp your hands, if you can clasp don’t worry, stop! if you feel any discomfort in your back.
Begin to press the top of your foot into the crease of your arm and lift your leg higher as you lean your torso forward to maintain your balance.
